Accommodation, all meals, all training, all materials and every 1:1 session. You book your own travel and I handle the rest, including the restaurant nobody would have found on their own.

Who is a Createcation actually for?
Founders, experts, speakers, coaches and people with one very good book sitting in their head doing absolutely nothing. Some arrive with 40,000 words and no idea which ones matter. Some arrive with a voice memo and a lot of feelings. Both belong here. The 1 thing everybody in the room has in common is that they are done waiting for the quiet week that is never coming.
I have not started writing yet. Is it too early?
No. Starting is the hardest part of the whole thing, and it happens to be the part I am best at. You will leave with a structure, an opening and real pages. Turning up empty-handed is simply a different starting line. If it helps, the people who arrive with 4 abandoned drafts have considerably more untangling to do than you.
How much will I actually write in 4 days?
More than you think, and more than you have managed in the last 6 months at home. You do not type faster on a retreat. You stop rewriting paragraph 1 for the 40th time, because I am sitting right there and I will not let you. Structure first, then the pages come fast.
Do I get time with you, or is it all group work?
Both. The room is capped at 6 writers and I am there all 4 days, so you get the teaching and your own 1 to 1 sessions on your actual pages. Your manuscript, open on the table, with 30 years of publishing sitting next to it.
Do I have to read my writing out loud?
Only if you want to. Nobody gets made to perform. Most people end up reading something by day 3 anyway, usually the bit they swore they would never show a living soul, and that is almost always the bit that turns out to be the book.
What is included, and what is not?
Included: accommodation, every meal, all the teaching, all the materials and every 1 to 1 session. Not included: your flights and your travel insurance. You book how you get there. I handle everything from the moment you land, including the restaurant you would never have found on your own.
I am not a real writer. Does that matter?
You have said that sentence to yourself more times than you have said your own name, and it has never once been true. Your job in that room is to get the thing out of your head and onto the page in your voice. The craft is my job, and I have done it with 200+ authors. The knowing part was always yours.
