Group Coaching · Tuesdays · Starts October 6th
Nobody is waiting for your book. That’s the whole problem, and it’s the only one I’m solving.

You’re reading a sales page about writing.
Which, and I say this with love, is not writing.
I know what you’re doing. You opened this in a tab. There are 14 other tabs. One of them is your manuscript, which you opened at 9:12 this morning with genuine intent and have not touched since. Another is a forum thread about mechanical keyboards, because at some point last spring you quietly decided the problem might be your keyboard.
The problem is not your keyboard.
I’ve been a ghostwriter for 30 years. In that time I’ve watched genuinely extraordinary people fail to write a book for exactly 1 reason. People who run companies. People who’ve survived things I wouldn’t survive. People whose bios make me feel like a houseplant.
Nobody was expecting them on Tuesday.
So. Tuesdays.

The whole product
because I respect you.
Every Tuesday, 4:30pm PST, I open the room.
That’s it. That’s the thing.
No portal. No modules. No 40-page workbook with a lot of white space and a quote about vulnerability.

The hot seat
correctly.
4 writers go every week, which means you are guaranteed the chair at least once a month. Every month. Whether there are 5 of us in the room or 12.
Your dates go on the calendar in advance, so you get to spend the weeks in between in a state of productive fear.
8 minutes of me on your actual pages. The chapter that’s been broken since March, the one you keep stepping over like a stair that isn’t there.
Finding what’s quietly wrong with a manuscript is the single thing I’m best at on this earth. 200+ authors, 12 countries, x4 NYT bestsellers, and I still get an amount of joy out of it I’d describe as unbecoming.
The weeks you’re not in the chair, you watch me do it to somebody else. More useful than it sounds. Considerably more entertaining.
Crystal is frank in the best possible way. She’ll look you in the eye (or the Zoom camera!) and say, “Girl, own it. Speak the truth. Take up the space.” That direct encouragement was exactly what I needed.
Client results
My book went from idea to print in 8 months because of Crystal’s coaching and guidance. Her framework is magic. I had my entire book planned within three days. She stayed with me as my accountability coach, helping me find my voice and stories until the book went to editing.
Crystal is magic at what she does. Her vast knowledge and experience in the book writing world shows up as inspiration, easy to follow direction, practical advice, accountability, compassion and fun. She’s a joy and a master all rolled into one.
She is a pleasure to work with, an expert in her craft, and you can feel her passion for what she does every time you hop on a call with her. Based on my experience, it’s a no brainer to work with Crystal if you can!
The offer
I am.
No minimum, no lock-in, cancel whenever you like. The most you are ever out is the month you are in. The first 12 hold this rate for as long as they stay.
Book coaching with me 1:1 is $7-10K. If this room takes you 8 months, you land in roughly the same place. You just get there $997 at a time, in company, instead of through a single invoice that makes your stomach do a thing.
No minimum, no lock-in, no 12-month contract you’ll resent by spring. If the room stops being useful, you go. I’d genuinely rather that than have you sitting there quietly not writing out of politeness.
The dates
That includes the Tuesday I’m in Christchurch and the Tuesday I’m in Melbourne, because I’ll be running writing retreats in both and the room does not stop because I got on a plane. 9:30am on a Wednesday in New Zealand is a perfectly reasonable hour to sit and watch a roomful of people type.
Off December 22nd and December 29th. It’s Christmas. Go be with your people. I’ll be with mine and 2 dogs who have strong opinions about my laptop.

Straight talk
This isn’t 1:1 coaching. That exists, I do it, it’s $7-10K, and it’s a completely different animal.
I’m not editing your book.
There’s no manual, no framework PDF, no 5-phase workbook, and that’s a decision rather than an oversight. Everyone in the room is at a different stage. Somebody’s still deciding what the book even is. Somebody’s on chapter 9. Somebody is rewriting an ending for the 3rd time and has developed a whole personality about it. A syllabus would be wrong for nearly everybody on any given Tuesday, so I teach live, to whoever’s bleeding.
A note from me
for your book.
Your clients aren’t waiting for it. Your inbox isn’t waiting for it. Nobody is going to email you on a Thursday asking where it is. So it loses. Every week. To laundry, to email, to a podcast about focus, which is the most f*cked up part of the entire arrangement.
I can’t hand you more hours. Nobody can, and anyone who says otherwise is selling you a planner.
What I can hand you is 90 minutes that are already claimed, a room of people who will absolutely clock your empty square, and me in the corner being relentless about it in a way you’ll occasionally resent.
30 years. 200+ authors. I’ve never once found anything that beats somebody expecting you.
You’ll finish this book. It’s just a matter of when.

Stay wild. Write more. Change the world.Crystal4x NYT bestselling ghostwriter & book coach
that’s the whole runway.
Then you can close 13 of those 14 tabs. Leave the manuscript open.
Rather talk it through? Book the call. I’ll know inside 10 minutes whether this is your room, and I’ll tell you either way.

Before you ask
Then you’re exactly the person who needs a standing appointment. Plenty of people arrive with an idea and 4 pages. The hot seat works on whatever you’ve got, including a mess, and the 40 minutes of silence is where the pages come from.
Yes, and a few people will. The room is the weekly rhythm, coaching is the deep work. If you want both, say so on the call and I’ll price it properly rather than charging you twice for my attention.
You miss a Tuesday. Nothing is withheld and nobody emails you about it. If you miss the week your hot seat lands, tell me and I’ll move you to the next available slot rather than skipping you.
The hot seats are, so you can go back to your own feedback. The writing block isn’t, because recording 40 minutes of people typing would be an odd thing to do to anybody.
4:30pm Pacific is 7:30pm Eastern, 9:30am Wednesday in New Zealand and 11:30am Wednesday in Melbourne. The UK gets the short straw at 12:30am, so if you’re in Britain, talk to me before you join.
A free room gives you company. This one gives you a 4x NYT bestselling ghostwriter reading your actual pages, out loud, once a month, plus 11 other people who notice when you’re not there.

New members also receive one 30-minute 1:1 video call with Crystal Adair-Benning before their first session.
Members who complete 3 consecutive months also receive one written markup of up to 2000 words of their manuscript. Members joining on or before December 1st, 2026 also receive access to the December Write Off, an asynchronous writing sprint running December 22nd, 2026 to January 5th, 2027 in the members’ WhatsApp group.
No session is held on December 22nd or December 29th, 2026. In a calendar month containing 3 sessions, 12 hot seat places are available; in a month containing 4 or more sessions, additional places are available.
$997.00 CAD per month, with 5% GST included for Canadian residents. $997.00 CAD is the total amount charged either way, and no tax is added at checkout. There is no minimum term and no joining fee, so the total amount payable is $997.00 CAD for each month you remain a member, and nothing further after you cancel.
Members who join while the room’s first 12 places remain unfilled keep the $997.00 CAD rate for the duration of their unbroken membership. Members joining after those places are filled, from January 2027, pay $997.00 USD per month.
Payment is taken by automatic recurring charge to your card on the same day each month, beginning on the day you join. Your membership renews automatically each month until you cancel.
You may cancel at any time, before or after any renewal, at no charge and with no penalty, by emailing hello@writewordmagic.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. No further payments are taken.
Payments already made for the current or previous months are not refunded, and no refund is due for the unused part of a month in which you cancel. Cancel whenever you like: the most you are ever out is the month you are already in.
The only terms that may be changed during your membership are the session day and time, and the platform the sessions are held on. You will be given at least 30 days’ written notice of either. Price, cancellation rights and refund policy will not be changed for an existing member for the duration of their unbroken membership.
