Co-writing

Book coaching

How much does ghostwriting cost with Crystal Adair-Benning?
Done-for-you ghostwriting starts at $60,000 USD and I take 2 clients a year. Co-writing is $30,000 USD by application, 4 spots a year. Book coaching runs $7,000 to $10,000 USD for 12 sessions. Everything is on this page on purpose.
How long does it take to write a book with you?
90 days from first conversation to a finished manuscript is the standard for ghostwriting. Coaching runs at your pace across 12 sessions. Nobody waits a year to find out whether the structure works.
Is ghostwriting confidential?
Always. Your name on the cover, mine behind the curtain, NDA in place before we start. Every client shown on this site has given permission to appear here.
What if I don’t like what you write?
You see the structure before I write a word, then chapters as they land. Nothing gets to the end unseen. Revisions are part of the process, not an upsell.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Every option has a payment plan and we set it up on the call.
What happens on the strategy call?
30 minutes, free, and you leave knowing where you stand. We talk about your book, your goal and which of the 3 ways in fits. If none of them do, I will tell you that too.
Do I need to be a good writer already?
No. Book coaching starts at a blank page. Ghostwriting starts at a conversation. Your job is knowing the thing. Mine is the words.
Do you work with international clients?
Most of my clients are. Half my year is on Vancouver Island and half in New Zealand, and coached and ghostwritten authors have hit lists in 12+ countries.
Do you work with fiction?
No. Non-fiction and memoir only. That is where 30 years of my experience actually helps you.
Does AI write any of it?
0 words. Every word is human. Machine text cannot hold copyright anyway, so it would cost you the asset you are paying to build.
