Co-writing means you write the book and I shape it. I restructure it in tandem with you, rewrite it, and tell you which chapters are hurting it, and you're in the room for every stage. With ghostwriting, I write it from your interviews. Co-writing with me is $35,000 USD over 90 days, half the price of ghostwriting, and your name is the only one on the cover. I take 4 co-writing clients for 2027.

What’s co-writing, and how is it different from ghostwriting?
In ghostwriting, you talk and I write the whole book. In co-writing, you draft and I shape, cut, restructure and rewrite it with you. Your name goes on the cover either way and mine goes nowhere either way. The difference is that in co-writing you’re in the room for all of it.
How much does co-writing cost?
$35,000 USD. Payment plans available.
How many co-writing clients do you take?
4 a year. That’s the whole calendar. Shaping somebody else’s draft properly takes hundreds of hours, and I only get so many.
Do I need to be a good writer?
No. You need to have something worth saying and a willingness to be told the truth about the first version. Most of my co-writing clients are excellent at their field and average at prose, which is exactly the right combination for this.
How much writing do I actually have to do?
You write the drafts. I structure, rewrite and edit. How much of the final text is your original prose varies enormously by client, and by the end most people can’t tell which sentences started where, including them.
Whose name goes on the cover?
Yours, alone. No credit line, no “with” byline.
How long does a co-written book take?
90 days. You set the drafting pace.
What if I already have a full manuscript?
Then bring it. Co-writing is often the right answer for a finished draft that isn’t working, and validation in stage 1 will tell you fast whether it’s a structural problem or a sentence-level one.
Do you work with clients outside Canada?
Yes. My clients are across the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Everything runs over video.
What if I’m not sure whether I want co-writing or ghostwriting?
Book a free validation call and say exactly that. 30 minutes, free. Most people arrive certain about one and leave choosing the other, and a few leave being told to write it themselves with coaching, which is cheaper for them and honest of me.
