Book coaching with me is $10,000 USD for 12 × 60-minute sessions across 90 days, or $15,000 USD with a Createcation™ to lay the foundations first. You write every word. I bring the chapter map and honest feedback on your pages, and I'll tell you a chapter isn't working while there's still time to fix it. Most clients finish a first draft inside the 90 days.

A course can’t see your pages
It doesn’t know that your chapter 4 is actually your opening, or that you have buried the best story on page 90 because it felt too personal. Somebody has to read it and say so.
Accountability is a standing appointment
With somebody who has read what you sent and has notes. Nobody wants to show up to that empty-handed, which is the entire mechanism.
Most books die in the middle
Not at the start, where everyone is excited. Around chapter 6, when the shape is wrong and you can’t tell why. That’s the session where coaching earns every dollar.

Coaching only works if you write between sessions. If your calendar isn’t going to allow that for the next 90 days, ghostwriting is the honest answer.

I give you notes. If you want a professional actually moving your sentences around, that is co-writing.

How much does book coaching cost?
Private 1:1 book coaching is $10,000 USD for 12 sessions of 60 minutes each, or $15,000 USD with a Createcation™ to lay the foundations first.
Do you offer group book coaching?
No. My coaching is 1:1 only. If you want other writers around you, a Createcation™ puts you in a room with 5 of them for 4 days.
How is book coaching different from ghostwriting?
In coaching you write every word and I shape, question and hold you to it. In ghostwriting I write the book and you show up for interviews and approvals. Coaching is the only one of the 3 where you build the skill while you build the book, which is why most people come back for the next one.
How long does it take to write a book with a coach?
Coaching runs in 90-day blocks, and most clients have a first draft by the end of one. One went from idea to print in 8 months. It depends almost entirely on how much you write between sessions, which is the honest answer and the one nobody likes.
Do I need to have started writing already?
No. Sessions 1 and 2 are validation, before a word gets written.
What happens in a session?
Early sessions are structure and strategy, middle sessions are craft, and the last one is publishing and launch.

Will you edit my manuscript?
I read and respond to your pages, which is developmental work, not line editing. Hands in the prose is co-writing ($35,000 USD).
Do you help me get published?
Yes. It’s the final stage: publishing paths, positioning and the 90 days after launch week.
Do you coach writers outside Canada?
Yes. I’m on Vancouver Island and I’ve coached 200+ authors across 12+ countries. Sessions run over video and I schedule across time zones, including Australia and New Zealand.
What if I fall behind?
You will, at some point, and it’s fine. The sessions flex around your life. What I won’t do is pretend it didn’t happen, because the whole point of hiring a coach is having somebody who notices.
