People First is Morgan Lee’s book on leadership, written by somebody who leads people for a living as a People Experience Lead.
Morgan called me their writing “personal trainer,” which is about right. A lot of the work was getting them to stop apologising for their point of view on the page. Experts do this constantly: they hedge the thing they actually know, and the book gets weaker every time they do it.
