GIVEAWAYS AND CONTESTS
To participate in a website giveaway, visit the giveaway section of the website to learn more about the details of the specific giveaway. Enter the giveaway based on the presented instructions, which might change with each giveaway program. No purchase necessary. Entries using macro, robotic, script or other forms of automatic entry will be disqualified. Winner(s) will be selected within approximately two (2) weeks of the end of the giveaway contest as stated on the giveaway page in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the giveaway contest. Drawing will be conducted by Word Magic Copywriting whose decisions are final. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received for the giveaway. The winner(s) will be announced on the Tola Marketing website, social media, newsletter, email or by another noted method determined by Word Magic Copywriting.
Entrants consent to having their name published publicly on any of Word Magic Copywriting’s platforms. Prizes will be mailed to the address associated with the entrant’s account at the time of entry. Allow six to eight weeks for delivery. No returns, exchanges, or substitutions. No cash value. Each prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied outside of manufacturer’s limited warranty. ADVERTISING & AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE
Word Magic Copywriting will occasionally accept forms of cash or other forms of compensation for blog posts, social media promotion or other extensions of the Word Magic Copywriting brand. We adhere to a strict policy of only working with brands that we personally trust and believe in, and any opinions are strictly our own. The compensation received could influence the advertising content or topics. Any time we work with a paid advertiser, we will call out the sponsorship opportunity acknowledging that the post is in partnership with a brand.
This site will use select affiliate links, which means a commission is earned if you make a purchase via the link. The price you pay will be the same whether you use the affiliate link or go directly to the vendor’s website using a non-affiliate link.
Word Magic Writers Retreats
Terms and Conditions
If you’re joining me for one of my super fantabulous writers retreats, here are some things you need to know:
Refund Policy
No refunds will be offered for retreats 180 days from retreat start. Attendees may transfer their ticket to another retreat date or person with 60 days’ notice.
Payments
Payment is due according to the payment plan. All payments must be completed no less than 30 days before the retreat start. Failure to make payment (within 7 days of the payment date) is considered a cancellation of the attendee’s ticket. No refunds will be offered.
Accommodations
Each retreat space is hand-chosen to offer an intimate space for you to write. Rooms may be private or on occasion shared between friends. There is a maximum of 2 people per room.
Food & Beverage
Basic meals will be provided throughout the event. This is NOT a 5* Chef experience. We may be BBQing or cooking together throughout the event. Should you have any dietary restrictions or allergies please make us aware no less than 30-days in advance. You may always bring your own food or snacks should meals be of concern or challenging.
Transportation
Transportation to and from the retreat will NOT be provided by the Retreat Host. The final location will be emailed to you 30 days prior to the event. It is important to note that most retreats will be offered in rural areas where taxis or car rentals may be required.
Activities
You are encouraged to actively participate in all scheduled workshops and activities during the retreat. However, everything is optional! Should you prefer to spend your time differently, you may not impede or interfere with other attendees’ experience.
Liability Waiver
All participants will be asked to sign a liability waiver, releasing the retreat organizer from responsibility for any accidents or injuries that may occur during the retreat.
Health and Safety
Attendees are asked to monitor and consider their own health & safety as well as others for the duration of the event. Should you feel unwell before or during the event, appropriate measures will be taken to ensure your and others safety.
Code of Conduct
This is a writing retreat! While we will not be offering alcohol, you are welcome to bring and imbibe when appropriate. No excessive drinking or drug use will be allowed. Violation of this rule will be an automatic removal from the event.
Privacy Policy
Your personal information will be collected, stored and used during the retreat for the purposes of the retreat. It will never be shared or sold.
